RCG keeps moving ahead.

 

RCG Achieves ISO 20000 and 27000 Certifications
For immediate release

It is my great pleasure to announce Reston Consulting Group, Inc. (RCG) received official notification August 23, 2012 on successfully achieving registration to ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 standards for IT Service Management and Information Security Management.  Registration to these standards confirms that the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) System and Information Security Management System (ISMS) utilized by RCG is in conformance with these best practice standards.

With these registrations, RCG joins a very small group of elite corporations in the US that have achieved ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 20000 (IT Service Management), and ISO 27001 (Security Management) registrations.
  
RCG’s concept of operations, policies and procedures closely align to industry best practices.  These standards registrations provide external validation of RCG’s adoption of an integrated, interrelated process approach to effectively deliver and secure managed IT services.  This involves successful implementation of processes, ongoing control, and increased efficiencies and opportunities for continual improvement based on best practices standards for IT security and service delivery.  

The ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 registrations is validation that the solutions our team of staff members apply in designing, proposing and executing, provides best value to our customers.  We are taking customer satisfaction to the next level by delivering quality support, applying recognized standards, while closely monitoring client budgets.

RCG’s Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) System supports the provision of Program Management, Configuration Management, Service Desk, Network Management, Change Management, Capacity Planning, Supplier Management, and Cost Management.  RCG’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) supports the provision of establishing, implementing, operating, maintaining, monitoring, and improving Information Security.
